Special Presentation to Town & Country Memorial Post 152

During our February 17th 2005 American Legion General Meeting,  Ada Gitzler presented Town & Country Memorial Post 152 with an American and Marine flag on behalf of her son,  SSgt. Michael Gitzler.   Mike Gitzler or affectionately called "Droopy" is presently on active duty assigned to the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Headquarters in Al Asad, Iraq. Ada has been involved with Post 152 for many years as an Auxiliary member and is a very familiar face to all of us.

The American Flag was flown in special honor of Town & Country Memorial Post 152 over the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Headquarters in Al Asad, Iraq on 11 December 2004 during Operation Iraqi Freedom II in honor of American Legion Post 152. The flags were also accompanied by an Operation Iraqi Freedom II certificate signed by Commanding Officer of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 honoring our post.

I would like to thank Ada and Mike on behalf of Post 152 for such a special gift. We are planning to display the flags and certificate in our new beautiful display case in hall recently donated by members.

Jerry
